Joseph Nicolosi Jr. Discusses Transgender Procedures on CBN News

February 12, 2026

Dr. Joseph Nicolosi Jr., licensed clinical psychologist, researcher, and founder of the Reintegrative Therapy Association, was recently featured on CBN News to discuss growing concerns surrounding transgender procedures for minors.

During the interview, Dr. Nicolosi Jr. expressed that some individuals who undergo these procedures are “now irreversibly sterile” and will “never have biological children” resulting in outcomes that could significantly impact their future. Dr. Nicolosi Jr. also emphasized the fact that many of these young people may be struggling with identity issues that they will naturally outgrow over time. In his view, psychologists who interfere with that natural developmental process should be held responsible.

According to Dr. Nicolosi Jr., the “only thing that’s going to really change this around in the psychological profession is going to be class action lawsuits…where many young people come forward and say, ‘I was pushed into surgery. I was not told there were any other options. I was given this label as trans when I was very young and this was not fair.’”
